I like Stolis or Grey Goose.

Fact is, you only really need good vodka if you are drinking a martini.

Putting good vodka in orange or tomato juice is a waste.

First, there's technically no such thing as a "gin martini". It's either a martini or a vodka martini. I prefer martinis because vodka has no real flavor and I'm not a fan of drinking vermouth straight. I like my martinis dry (3 or 4 to 1) with quality gin. If there's no quality gin I'll take a gin & tonic.

Martinis are made with GIN not vodka. If you want a vodka martini thats what you have to ask for. A lot of drinks are called martinis, but the only thing 'martini' about them is the glass. They are just a mixture of sweet liquors.

A true martini has gin, and dry vermouth shaken with ice and strained. It can be garnished with olives or a pickled onion.

I like dirty martinis so I put a couple of bar spoons of olive juice in mine.

I think Grey Goose is considered to be among the best. I enjoy it, but I also like Ketel One, or even Skyy which is much cheaper, but I do like actually. . . . . For martinis I enjoy Strawberry Martinis, where they infuse the vodka with fresh strawberries, and then just add a bit of simple syrup. Yummy!

I personally love Grey Goose or Hangar One vodka.
My favorite martini is either a classic dirty martini (vodka & olive juice) or a Lychee Martini (vodka and lychee juice & fruit). YUM!

Stolichnaya is the premium vodka in Russia.

Best martini is Boodles or Tankeray Gin. Pour a little dry vermouth in a martini glass, swirl it around, then throw it out.
Fill with gin, over ice if preferred, add an olive or two.
Same with vodka if you like.

I am personally a dirty vodka martini fan.
I also like "dirty vodka," which is just the olive juice added to vodka.
I am partial to Smirnoff (red label) and Ketel One. The nice thing about Smirnoff is that is one of the less expensive vodkas on the market.
