Try peroxide and then turn your head to the side and see if it comes out. It should fizz in your ear and may help.

it is never a good idea to use q-tips in your ears, you can do permanent damage, not to mention that the canal is so small, most of the time the swab will just push dirt further into it. I would recommend Debrox ear drops, you put them in for three nights in a row with a cotton ball just before you go to bed, on the fourth morning, get a bulb syringe and flush the ear until all the water coming back is clear. A bulb syringe can be found in any drug store, just ask the pharmacist to help you. But this is a much safer way to clean the ear than putting a q-tip in.

well I had a similar problem with my daughter of 2 years old and my doctor told me to do this and it worked like magic.
so I had to put some almond oil in her ears and at bath time I had to use the shower head and rise her ear. if it didn't work at first I could do it several times. It's natural and a great way to keep ears clean at all times.
I use this system too now.
hope I helped and
have a great day....

Try earwax removal drops. There are a couple of brands like Debrox and Auro that I've used. They sell them at grocery stores, drug stores, and places like Target and Wal-Mart. Just follow the instructions on the box. You may have to do it a couple of times but it should get everything out. I had saltwater stuck in my ear and it helped for that.

You could use a nasal aspirator (that little blue squeezy bulb that they ram in the baby's nose and mouth when it's first born) to squirt some water up there. If that doesn't work, try some ear cleaning products like murine, debrox, or peroxide.

Tilt your head, and pour about a capful of hydrogen peroxide in each ear. Hold it in your ear for about 30 seconds. Within days it should clear up.

Put some peroxide in it, it should lift the dirt out, and then gently run a q-tip through it afterwards :)

Keep rinsing with warm (not hot) water. Be patient, it may take a while.
Next time, consider wearing ear plugs while you are swimming in the lake. :-)

I was going to tell you to use q-tips but you already have. You have to spend a little more time cleaning your ear out then.

Ask your pharmacist about ear candles. You place them in your ear, then set them on fire and it pulls anything in your ear canal out.
