In the dream i met 2 friends in a parking lot. Me & 1 other friend left our cars in the lot, in a good area of town, the 3rd drove us to go eat to plan a trip. After he dropped us back off in the lot, my car had been broken into & the only thing missing was the steering column of the car. Steering wheel, whole column were just gone, no broken window or anything. This is the main thing I remember. What could this mean?

I've read several books on dreams, and I think that your dream could mean that you feel like you want to go in another direction in your life, but something or someone is stopping you from moving on. Not having a steering wheel on your vehicle of course would mean that you can't go anywhere or move forward: Only you have the power to change that. Move on! Take that steering wheel back!!!!

Your car symbolizes the mode or method in which you are using to get your to a specific destination in life. By your steering column being stolen, it represents someone has taken away from you the tool to steer your path.

driving a car signifies being in control of your life..letting someone else drive you signifies letting someone else control your life
a missing steering column of the car I'm not sure about..maybe you question whether or not you'll be able to control your life in the future? Any changes in job or relationship?

I think it means your confused about something. You dont know what direction your going in. someone has stolen your steering wheel and has made you confused. you need to find out who the person is that took your steering wheel (figurativly) and get back your direction.

Have you watched any movies about car repair or thefts this past few days?
It could be as simple as that, I bet the dream interpretors think you are not in control of your life.
Most likely you saw or heard something like a auto theft or auto repair for that dream though.

you were driving yesterday, and at one particular moment, you noticed something with either the steering wheel itself, or how you were driving, or you noticed some gangsta kid driving with one hand on the steering wheel, and it made u think of that weird story last night.
