Why do I love the Bible?
Because it is the most powerful book out there. Look at how many lives it has changed throughout history (even up to present date)! Because people are still turning to Christ everyday, this is evidence that it still has relivance today!

Why do I read it?
If I don't (which some days, this happens), my day seems out of focus. It always feels like I missed out on something.

Do I believe that it was inspired by God?
Absolutely! Even though humans wrote it, I know for a fact that God could / and still does speak to a willing, open heart! I know this because God has spoken to me on several occasions. Not in an audio, booming voice, but through the people around me and through His Word!

I love the bible because it helps me see what I need to do in my life. How I need to treat others, and how Christ would have me live.

I read it to get inspiration, even about silly little things. It helps to open my mind so I can understand and hear what God wants of me.

I do believe the bible is inspired of God. I do think that there are other books inspired also, that God still talks to us and wants us to know what He wants from us even today. That doesn't mean that I think of the bible any less as God's word. I actually think more of it because I have a better understanding of the bible now.

I love the Bible because since the time I started reading it at a very young age, I have always felt warmth, truth, and purity in the words that I have read.
I read the Bible to get closer to The Lord. There are certain pages that I read in the Bible that are for when I am going through hellish times. I read different passages of course for different moods, and times that I am in my life.
Yes I believe that God written the Holy Bible through the hands of His chosen men.

I started answering this and just saw who asked it. Isn't it funny which people are drawn to the same subjects? I love the Bible because it is the Divine inspired Word of God and helps me to learn more about the One who loves me unconditionally like no one ever has or ever will. He speaks directly to ME in His Word and I feel so close to Him when I read it. If it were not inspired it would not speak to me. I find direction for my life in its pages. I find uncomfortable things that help me grow. I find comfort when I am lonely or afraid. He is my all and I am so thankful He gave us His Word. One more thing....God's Word is so deep that you can read it over and over and find things you understand better each time. It is never boring. I love to learn and there is no book better to learn from.

The Bible:
it's message comforts when needed
it so complex that a person may study it his whole life and still keep learning new things
it's teachings and prophecies are faith building
reading it makes us feel closer to God.

-----
It is the inspired word of God. But because of time and language, it really helps to use a number of more recent translations.

Where can I start? One thing, it is God talking in word. It is our guide to living holy, It is Jesus talking; the Word. It is the only book that is true in everything it says. These are some reasons why I love the Word of God, and it was and is inspired by God.

I love the Bible because I have found comfort in His word. Sometimes when I am discouraged or sad, I can read the Psalms and find that human emotions are pretty much the same as they were in David's time. God's word is living..sometimes it seems as though it speaks to the depth of my soul. and discerns my innermost feelings. I get to know God through His word and find how longsuffering and patient He is and how much He loves us.

a.) The Bible has the basis of the Christian belief, thus I value it.

b.) I read it because I'd prefer not to be an ignorant Christian.

c.) Yes. Prophecies back this up. 1500 years of many different men writing and somehow all coming to the same conclusion shows this to be true.
