there are those so immature that whatever happens to flit thru their mind seems acceptable for posting. You are correct, the subject is hardly one that should be joked about.

If I true wanted to take my life I would not tell you, to do it at This time is beyond me. The time may come when I would go EAST but it will have to get a lot worse. Sometimes the only words that come to mind are awful, I am sorry. All the people I know who say they would kill them self have not but the ones who did not tell anyone.

Don't know what happens with a person........but you should pay close attention to anyone considering to take their life.....So sad that some will threaten to and sometimes it is for attention and they do have a problem....Yes it is serious and should not be joked about.....A question like that makes my prayer list longer............God Bless

it's really truly nothing to joke about, but some people think they are funny. that's why im not always sure about answering those questions, because if i give a serious answer and they are just kidding, it's like i gave them what they were looking for. i hate giving those sickos satisfaction.

i agree. it is really not right and something to joke about. suicide is something contemplated everyday by thousands. it is tried by a lot of them and some suceed. it is completely wrong to even joke about that. i think they think it is funny of how people get very personal and tell them why they shouldn't do it. it is something that is completely not right. if they want to joke, they should go to jokes and riddles. suicide is serious and it should not be played as a joke.

Unfortunately there are people out there who want attention. That's really all it is.
I suffer from Clinical Depression, and it's sad to know that there are people who treat it as a joke.

I don't think they are joking. I think they want to see if there is ANYONE, even complete strangers, who will acknowledge them. Many who threaten or even attempt suicide are really seeking help and attention. I think the same applies here.

To get attention. How dull their lives must be to have to whip up this sort of drama to entertain themselves.
