I think she is just trying to get you to eat fruit. This might be true though as apples are actually good for your teeth. Any crunchy fruit or veggie is. What happens is the apple is stiff and when you eat it the skin might get between your teeth in a way flossing them ,well, corn is more like that. Anyhow Health proffesionals have stated that apples help you with oral health. Plus apples are good for you body in the first place. Apples also have lots of fiber which helps you... You know what. Personally I remove half of the skin of the apple in stripes because I hate the taste of the polish they put on those apples. Still you should try and keep it whole as the skin holds extra nutrients. I hope you have been helped in the way of the apple.

I think it could be true. Apples contain a substance Malic Acid, which gives them a slightly tart taste, which would be good for whitening your teeth. Apples also cantain fibres and particles of cellulose, which help clean between your teeth (sometimes the little pieces of cellulose get stuck, and you should brush or floss them out).

No apples cannot whiten your teeth they have acid in them and if you eat too many they can damage your teeth!! the only thing that whitens teeth is carbamide peroxide.
