He is the opposite of Christ, who is Lord and Savior over all. Who is good and pure and full of love, mercy and forgiveness.

You're right Satan was idealistic, but changed into being jealous. He is very smart, powerful, knowledgeable and swift among other things humans cannot even imagine. He is an angel created by God, subject only to Him.
I don't hate Satan although I have great respect for him in relation to myself. I see him as I see pit bulls (not that I believe he is a dog). In pit bulls there is an innate desire to tear things, beasts and humans apart. I respectfully keep a distance from them.
I ask God to rebuke Satan from attacking me just as I would ask the owner of a pit bull to contain his dog. I know that Satan does not answer to me. If I were to rebuke or try to restrain him myself, I may be torn apart.
Yours in Christ Jesus, Grace

Satan became demonized with the begining of the Christian faith, before that Satan was in the bible as the peoples adversary, when you died your soul would go to God and in front of God would be Satan and he would have a list and reason for everything you did in your life and would put you on trial for it to test your soul. In a very big way he was/is the lawyer of the afterlife for the abrahamic faiths. When Christianity came about he became a road block to getting to Heaven so what do you do to get there anyway, take out the roadblock, and thus the church took Satan from a place in Heaven and said he was evil and put him to a place they call Hell, except in the original bible hell itself is never mentioned, hades is which is like hell to some degree but in the center of hades is Heaven so to get to heaven you must go through Hell, also Hel is a realm of the afterlife in the ancient Norse religion, and is a very nice place according to the tales and myths, very little pain and punishment if any, and the church took the name Hel changed it to Hell in order to convert the Germanic Northern peoples, just like they did to many other regions and faiths. Many christian symbols are of pagan origin including the cross.

Yes society hates the smart and opinionated, that is why christians are persucuted :)
Anyway what I say is people should not hate the devil,
God loves all his creations and satan is one of them
We should not let him into our lives and we should not speak with him or anything like that, but people shouldn't hate the devil because that is what he wants.
Our lives should have only love, and if you hate the devil, that isn't love

The very name Satan means adversary....against. This is his prupose:
as that member of the divine council who watches over human activity, but with the evil purpose of searching out men's sins and appearing as their accuser.
How is is smart or cool to watch over others with the purpose of accusing them? He seeks out evil.
I do not find that to be idealistic.

I bet you re-veer Charles Manson too. He is quite the individual. I wouldn't trust him.
Smart, idealistic are good qualities.
Tell me, do you really want to be deceived on a regular basis?
Doesn't trust have a measurement in a person's qualities for you?

Satan is the reason why people hurt, hate, destroy, kill, torture, lie, decieve, cheat, and suffer.
The hate that I have for satan is righteous hate because I myself knowing that all the things that I have stated in the above is wrong, and I understand fully where all the bad in the world comes from.

He is the ultimate scapegoat for all of the world's problems. People should be grateful for him. Without the idea of Satan, we would have to admit that most evil comes from the hearts of people, and that tragedies are usually the result of bad luck. I think his crime of wanting to overthrow heaven sounds very reasonable. He was living under an oppressive dictator that uses medieval punishments against people for trivial sins. I don't believe in him, though if I did, I would sympathize with him for using his mind, voicing dissent, and taking the rap for our mistakes.

Because Satan is a liar and a deceiver who comes to kill, steal and destroy. He accuses the brethren and blinds the minds of unbelievers to the good news of Christ Jesus.
John 8:43 Why do you not understand what I say? It is because you cannot bear to hear my word. 44 You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world--he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. 10 And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, "Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God.
2 Corinthians 4:3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled only to those who are perishing. 4 In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

Yes, he was smart ( in all but one way, I mean you gotta be dumb to think you can overrule the God who created you) and idealistic. He was also beautiful and nieve (sorry I can't spell idk if i spelled nieve wrong or right). Now he's evil- he's trying to get everyone thrown to hell, which by the way he does not live in hell, does not love hell, as a matter of fact he don't want to go to hell, but he will eventually. He lives on earht. whew scary thought. Umm, I guess people hate him because he's mean, evil, and he wants what he wants, and he wants all the people to go to hell. God on the other hand does not, God wants them in heaven, but like a good parent, he's letting his 'kids' decide on their own, (but he is giving them a guide book, his love, his patience, kindness, wisdom, and he'll let anyone who wants to talk to him, and he's not going to force anyone to hell) just like in this life; A parent can help their kid grow in god but after so long they have to let go, and when they do they have to let their kid do whatever. They won't shut their kids out, and they'll still guide and talk to them, but their kids can make their own decisions, like whether to go rape someone and pay the consequences by going to jail ( or worse, hell if they don't repent and become a Christian) or to be good people and live a happy life, free and guiltless ( and better, go to heaven if they repent and become a christian. either way they have to repent no matter to what extent all have sinned)
I'd like to bring up an interesting point and note that Satan, the evil, fallen angel, believes in God; he knows he exists, he just won't follow him, and that's whats required, we can't just say, o ya God exists, we have to trust him, follow him, live our lives in the way he wants us too, and ask him into our lives to be saved.

I am a christian, I don't hate Satan, I have regards and respect for him. As people should have for all things not of this Earth, for they are much more deceptive and powerful than people give them credit for. And Hate is such a strong word, I dislike him greatly.
