Before(when he was younger), after eating, it only takes a few minutes i think, for him to finally poop... until now... it already took him 3 hrs or so to poop...

IS THIS TRUE???

When they are small puppies, their systems are not fully developed and have a difficult time controlling what comes natural. The older they get, the more developed they become and in turn, are able to hold it for a longer period of time.

My dogs don't always go right after they eat, but they do let me know when they have to go. Your dog will do the same with time and training. Just be consistent with housebreaking. It sounds like you are doing just fine.

Well, if you know he "poops" three hours later, then take him out three hours later after he eats.
Yes, as they get older, they learn to control their bowel movements.
Feed him at a different time to accommodate your time, so that you are able to be with him when he is ready to go.
When you take him outside, praise him so he knows he did well.
If he goes inside by accident, with a firm voice say NO. No rubbing his nose in it, or spanking, and take him outside immediately where he usually goes and say, "good boy" or something to that effect.
Try to use the same door when taking him out. He will learn that if he goes to that door, that means he needs to go out.
We have all of our dogs trained to go to one door and that tells us they have to go.

Good luck and have patients with him.

always reward him with positive reinforcement
( treats,praise,etc. ) make a word like
(your dog's name here_ go potty! or something like that and when he is outside you say that word constantly until he goes and then praise him. and yes bigger dogs = bigger intestines so it might take longer then little dogs.
