The government need to set up a Summer camp programme for the children, 6 weeks is a long time especially when the weather is bad!....
You know ...Day trips & some where to go to play & meet new friends!....

I don't have a kid that I cloud do anything with. No entertainment for me here. However, my church have a summer camp that kids can go spend some times there for working parents. They are taking the kids everywhere else for fun also. I think it is for $75 a week for each kid. I'm pretty sure you could find a Church in your hometown will do that also.

You could buy them a paddling pool and trampoline and pray that the weather improves! And supervise them to make sure they don't kill themselves, and maybe put one of those dinky nets round the trampoline. And have a lifeguard for the paddling pool. I don't want to be sued here!

Well, my eldest is going to stay with my parents in Tenerife for the summer so he's sorted (jammy sod!)
so I just have my daughter left.
I expect we will do some day trips and stuff, but mostly I expect her friends we'll come over or she will see them (I hope)

Scotland schools finished on 29th June and we are all going crazy as the weather has been bad - Do they have Boot camp or summer schools in Scotland? ha ha,

well if it were me I would take them to the swimming pool , parks and the library and get them to read ,and maybe some bird books and let them see if they can see some of the birds in the book . good luck I know kids can be a handfull .

Taking them to London zoo and beach hopefully if weather gets better, and arming myself with lots of head ache pills.
