I need help with a road part. Can someone remind me whether the 9 speed generation Ultegra bottom bracket is compatible with Dura Ace. I have a bike for sale with Dura Ace but the bottom bracket is shot and I'd rather just throw an Ultegra unit in there.

Yes, the 9 speed Ultegra bottom bracket works with the 9 speed Dura Ace. Many people used an Ultegra bottom bracket on their Dura Ace groups because the Ultegra bb was a sealed unit (maintenance free) while the Dura Ace 9 bb was an open unit- to save a few grams of course.

i belive most shimano conponents are compatible with each other...
