Interesting question... Oddly enough, I've noticed that my friends with nasty, unlegible handwriting are just a complete mess in general. Then again, mine is average, but I think my personality is much more than average...

I don't think the handwriting reflects much of one's personality, 'cause we can change them easily, and it also depends on the situation. If my future bf catches my handwriting when I am in a hurry or sth like that, he may think that I'm a bad girl or whoever! Anyway, a guy with neat handwriting is good, maybe neat too! But I'd prefer one with strong handwriting!

My dad has very neat handwriting especially for being left handed, my boyfriend on the other hand has horrible handwriting and is right handed, I think that it doesn't matter how your handwriting is compared to your personality...My bf and my dad both are very outgoing and funny guys! I also think it is how much time some one spent with you as a child on learning how to write properly.....I think that my handwriting isn't that great, but I get complimented all the time.

Believe it or not, I LOVE a guy with neat handwriting. I usually would not date a guy with bad handwriting because in my mind, that means that he hasn't done a great deal of writing which means that he's probably not as intelligent. I know that in some cases that isn't true, but I'm just stating my opinion.

Hm...I'm not sure if it reflects their personality at all because I know tons of people with horrible hand writing who aren't the similar in anyway, besides their handwriting.
If I were to meet a guy with nice hand writing, maybe I'd think of him as an organized person if I didn't already know him. But it doesn't mean it's true...it would just be a first impression type of thing.

No, not really. I can change mine at a whim.
I have been in a supervisory position nearly my entire working life...25 years. I've seen hundreds of samples, in a context where I could observe personality traits and looking back, I can remember "flaky" folks whose personal lives were total train wrecks with neat, sloppy, average penmanship. The same for brilliant people, hard workers, and just average folks. So, no. I don't think it is reflective of personality traits.
A guy with neat handwriting? Great. I don't have to decipher, and he could write beautiful love letters, both in content and aesthetically speaking.

It does to a small extent, but don't believe in all that hoo-haa about the direction it leans and the size of your loops etc.
I mean, a careless, lazy person will write messily and fast because they just don't care. A Patient perfectionist will write slowly and neatly because they are willing to take the time, and because they like it to look very neat.
To that extent, yes, personality can be represented in handwriting but thats nothing significant. Personality is represented in ones room, on ones desktop, on the vocabulary one uses, and on the way they treat and upkeep their car.
