There is this young attractive girl who wears extremely short skirts to church and always sits in my row. And she's not careful about keeping her legs together. And I think she lets it ride up on purpose. I'm afraid the points I make for going to church is being outweighed by the evil thoughts I'm having during the service.

Half the girls I know, they're fairly young, who go to church go there mainly to pick up on guys. Maybe that's what she's doing?
Oh, and I wouldn't blame you for having impure thoughts. You're only human. What are you expected to think of when you see a hot girl with little very revealing clothing on? I wouldn't worry. If there's anyone doing something wrong here, it's her.

It's the fashion. Mini skirts have been round for a fair while, they were pretty controversial at the time when they first came out and the original ones weren't all that short anyway (just above the knee). The styles, patterns and lengths change but girls still wear them. I wore short skirts when I was 13 (not that my dad approved...) and I still wear them now. Church though.....I don't think i would wear one to church....oh well thats just me i guess. She probably is trying to get attention from the guys (if there is any her age that is). Don't worry about it, she's not YOUR daughter, you can't tell her how to dress. If her parents let her wear that to church then that's just the way it is. (:

This girl either hasn't been educated in the proper dress code for attending church - or she just isn't thinking. I have found that people have varied opinions regarding the proper attire for entering the house of the Lord. Some say that it doesn't matter what your wear or who you are, but the fact that you have taken time out of your day to spend it with God is the more important thing. Others will say that out of respect short skirts, halter tops baseball caps, tee shirts with offensive wording or shabby attire are inappropriate when attending church. If you find that you are being distracted by this woman's attire, perhaps you should try to focus more on prayer and ask God to help you keep a clean mind and spirit.

And what century do we live in again? If she is so bad for wearing that skimpy little skirt, then how bad are you for looking at her bare legs and beyond? Maybe next time you go to church you could say 1000 hail mary's, it may just keep you out of HELL. But for god sake don't look again, just leave that up to the rest of us sinners, lol

why does she wear short skirts well because she is a tart who is just showing off how cheap she can actually be..... come on a decent girl would not wear a short skirt to church and to add find it DIFFICULT to keep her legs closed......... I hope you would have more respectful taste in women than that!

i would speak to your pastor and ask him that your name be confidential,maybe ask him to speak to her parents. Or if she's over 18. He can speak with her,or have one of the elder ladies to.I sure she doesn't want to wear shorts that would help her church brothers faulture .Our pastor says he doesn't care how they are dress when they first come.But,as they gain knowledge in the Word of God and also see how other women dress.They should be "moved" to change themselves.If not,you are helping her also to be a part in her being guided to change old ways to "walk a more Christian way.

My friend also wear that go to church because she said outside weather very hot
properly at times still need to wait outside too hot .. Maybe the weather is hot outside
