Dear Christians

You are welcome in the Muslim Mosque.
NO pictures of God or Statues shall be there.
There shall be no chairs
All have stand in a row without any distinction.
You need to stand or sit on the floor or on rugs.
No questions shall be asked by any one.
It might be difficult only in Congregational prayers, where every one will be following certain commands of the person leading the prayers.

As A Muslim I have visited a church and a Monastry in USA

Let me highlight a historical incident which took place in 637 A.D, when Jeroselam was conquered by Muslims without any bloodshed.

It was prophecied in their Holy books about the identity of Caliph Umer, upon identifying him, the Christian Religious authorities greeted him and handed over the keys to him.

It might be interesting to note that Caliph Umer was walking, while his slave was riding the camel at that particular time they reached Jeroselam as both of them were riding turn by turn on the camel. He was wearing a simple dress with lot of patches joints on it at that time.

Later Caliph Umer Prayed in the Church of Jeroselam and let the church remain as church and never converted into a mosque.

Unfortunately Muslims are mostly responsible for the present change in their status in the world.

Hmm, as a Christian I pray anywhere but a mosque or other similar place of worship that belongs to other faiths. I pray in every church, capel, etc, and it doesn't matter if it is Catholic, Protestant, Orthodox, etc, as long as its Christian.

I think most of the Christians feel about praying in a mosque the same thing that muslims( all of them) feel about praying in a church, as I never heard of any muslim praying in a Christian church.

Since God is with me everywhere, it does not matter where I talk to Him. If I ever had reason to be in a mosque, I'd talk to Him, there, too. 'Course, I wouldn't kneel on a mat and do like everyone else was doing. "Praying" simply means talking to God, so I don't feel a need to do any special rituals when I talk to God.
I pray when I'm driving, walking, getting ready for bed, cleaning house, wasting time...

A true Christian can pray anywhere, it is a personal expression with you and God. Jesus walked the earth and preached everywhere he went, he did not need a special building to spread the word. Some Christians are just too hung up with all the trappings and grandeur of bigger and fancier gets them closer to God, when in fact you could be in a foxhole in the middle of war and still be close to God.

It's taboo for a Christian to pray anywhere that's not a Christian church. You won't find a Christian praying in a mosque, synagogue, or any other non-Christian place of worship. In fact, it's taboo for any religious follower to pray and worship at a holy place that is not affiliated with their religion.

And I'm not referring to Christians amongst themselves, such as Baptists praying at an Episcopalian church, or Catholics worshipping at a Methodist church. It's all the same anyway, except for the little differences that makes Christianity divide amongst itself.

if they pray to God and not Jesus, I think it wouldnt matter.. (just pray to the same god Jesus prayed to, afterall, he didnt pray to himself did he?).. Just be respectful of the mosque, remove shoes, and if you are a lady, cover your hair, dress concervatively and be respectful of those that are already there..
we muslims believe in the same god Jesus does..

God hears all prayers, no matter where we are...

Some of my best prayers are said while sitting on the toliet!

No disrespect to God - but it was the first time I had any peace and quiet all day!
