If the dogs are under 21 then you could be charged with contributing to the delinquency of minors.
And since one of them committed, at the very least, a misdemeanor (Aggravated Assault, biting the neighbor) you could be guilty of felony negligence.
Do you have a license to serve beer (liquor license)? If not, then you could be charged with running an illegal bar. Depending on the amount served, this could be a federal offense.
If the neighbors wanted to get really fired up, they could pursue attempted murder charges on behalf of the crickets you originally intended to drown.
So yes, you're in trouble again, and thanks for the laugh.

Oh, that is so funny. To funny for serious thought. But NO, they can not sue you. The old man should be in the house and the driver of the car was at fault. Neither one, has a leg to stand on. I Love this story, as it is the funniest yet. The owner of the dog, needs to keep the dog tied up or in a dog kennel. So the real guilty person is the dog owner.

Well, I do not see how you can be blamed, because technically, the dogs should have been controlled by their owners. Whether a dog gets loose or not, an owner is responsible to have it under control at all times. Things like this is where blame is put on someone else, instead of the real person(s) to be blamed!
Edited to add: if this is to be humor, it is a good one!

Now that information should be put in the pros, and cons of home remedy's. I think that before someone can sue you, the dogs would have to be proven under the influence. Try a different approach for now.
Good story, send it to Readers Digest.

If the yard is NOT fenced off, and people or animals can bget to the beer, then you are at the very least, negligent in causing the accident and the dog bit.

Dog owners are the ones responsible for their animals leaving their property unattended not on a leash. If I were you I would throw a steak in my trunk the next time those dogs came over and take them for a ride.....LOL problem solved..

I agree with some of the others here that if the dog got on your property and wasn't chained or locked up or on a leash that you can't be liable...Most states have leash laws....I would tell the neighbors the next time their dog got on my property that I would shoot the d#mn dog....

did this actually happen? well, if it did, obviously the dogs should have been on a leash, not running wild through the streets. the fault would not lie with you, but with the irresponsible pet owners!

The dogs shouldn't have been on your property. They have no case. They should be glad you didn't shoot and kill the dogs for being on your property.
