Aren't they just spam, in which case we just feel obligated to report their answers as abuse? I'm tired of having to scroll past them anyway.

I never bother reading them. Its easier to give it a thumbs down and get it out of the way.
I'll read it if I think it wasn't a cut and paste but when its really long, its obvious thats what they are doing.

Yes, I do see them as spam, but the answer which I believe you're referring to was not from a Christian, it was from a Muslim.

That leads me to a revelation...could it be that many of the times that Christians have been accused of leaving long biblical references as answers, it's actually NOT been Christians?

It's not spam so long as whomever posts it has a reason to back up why they're posting it, also as long as it's in the correct forum. You may not want to hear it, but you may as well get used to it, because this is the Religion and Spirituality forum, and the Christians who post biblical references are within their jurisdiction and are not spamming.

So sad that no one has the integrity to accept differing opinions or the desire to actually READ & LEARN.
Y!Answers is so full of ignorant dogmatic rants.
