Ouch. She sounds mean.

Keep her out of your affairs.

Consider this:

All have to get ready for the wedding in his parents home as well.

You could be starting a war....let it go or I guarantee things will get ugly and progress into uglier. It's not a good idea to look for levers to fight with your better-half's parents over piddly issues - they are not being intrusive and they will have a houseful so actually they are trying to help not cause problems like you are taking it. Perhaps you are a bit nerved up/ on edge due to the big day approaching....go treat yourself to a spa day or try and do something positive when your mind starts to wonder like that. If you are going to your parents or are staying at the residence consider asking for some assistance with your other child from your family or a close friend if you are preparing for your day alone.

Oh Darl, I'm sorry. That is an awful thing to happen. Think of it this way though, if she has not accepted him by now then it is probably better she spends no time with him when your not there. That way you can be sure he is not being treated badly. Also, you get to have him with you on the wedding morning, that is a special thing to be able to share with him.

Tell him your son is staying right here with you and he and his mother have lost their minds if they think you are going to stand by and let them treat your son this way.

see if you can find a friend or a different relative to take both of your children for the night. If not take them with you.
