In order to regain some stability in the world. Would it help to appease the terrorists?

THe reason I feel that the terrorist should be appeased is because if some one was have to done to my country and my people what TB and GWB have done in Iraq, I would be prepared to take up arms and fight.

Imagine if Sadam had started a war on America and decided you all needed a dictatorship rather than a democracy, flatened New york Killed 100,000 civilians maybe some of them your family members/friends etc, wiped out all your impotant arcitecture, on top of this if you had no electricity or water for months/years you would be pretty angry right?

Even though there are several good answers posted here no one mentioned why there is military action in Iraq. THE WILLING COALITION OF SOME 30 PLUS COUNTRIES WERE ENFORCING RESOLUTION 1441 FROM THE U.N !!!!

I have seen some serious cases of S.M.S. (Selective Memory Syndrome) but some of these responders are just eat up with it. You can take your appeasement and put it where the sun doesn't shine.

War crimes? You failed to give any examples of war crimes committed by either of these two great leaders. If you are going to fall back on munitions as a violation put those with your appeasement. GWB should be held accountable for his decision to engage us in the war in Iraq. We were told Iraq was a threat to us, they were never a threat. We were told Iraq was involved in 9/11....totally false. We were told Iraq had a nuclear program and tons of WMD...again false.

Why the American people leave him in office is beyond me. Impeachment needs to be a real option. Fire his ***.

Appease the terrorists? You can't appease them, they want to dominate the world with their religion.
The only way to have stability in the world again is to destroy this terror cancer from the world. Ever notice that the terrorists won't stand and fight a standing army? They have to hide in the shadows, kill innocents with pizza parlor bombings, car bombs outside shopping areas, beheading captured civilians like Nik Berg, or Mr Pearle. This isnt about the terrorists, its about us. Its about thousands of dead soldiers and tens of thousands with no arms or legs, its about the billions on billions of taxpayers money that went into this calamity. Yes, they should be prosecuted.

Iraq was a war of choice (unlike Afghanistan) and prosecution would mean saying to any future leaders, if you take us to war on a pack of lies again, there will be consequences.
