There are only 2 names you should put on your body Your Children's and your Mommas. Dude you are 2 young to be putting a permanent mark on your body, especially for someone else that may never like you. Have fun at this age, you still have time before you want to have to take life seriously.

I would say NO. That is not the way to go when you are only 16. Wait until you KNOW the right girl. She could change overtime, and you guys could grow apart. And you wouldnt want to be left with a girl's name on you that you hated. You could have a girlfriend and she could see it and reject you. This is NOT a good idea. If you want a tattoo for her, maybe get a symbol of something she likes. If she likes music, get a music note. Just do NOT write her name. Even if it is in Chinese. Stay on the safe side.

Look i think you need to really think about this. I can tell you this my little sister is 15. If she ever came to me at her age and said i love this boy and i want his name tattooed on me. I would hit her so hard that her great grandchildren would feel it. You are 16 at that age all i wanted was my car and to hang out with friends. I was not thinking about getting a tattoo of my boyfriends name on me. You need to stop and Waite until you are sure you are going to be with someone the rest of your life. And from what you said she don't even like you. So why would you get it. Don't give me that I Love her you don't even know what that means yet. I have been with my husband for 8 years i did not get his name tattooed on me until a month ago . I did it because i have been with him so long and we have been through a lot. But when we were just friends i would have never gotten it. You need to go and talk to someone about your issues. By the way you cant get one until you parents say its OK because you are under 18. And if you mom and dad are smart they will tell you hell no.

You love this girl- and you certainly know what type of person she is; so I think that you know deep down that she isn't the type of girl to be impressed by a tattoo- she may even think it's creepy.
You sound like a nice, genuine type of guy and I'd say pick something else to get her attention. Are you doing Shakespeare in your English class? She might be impressed if you can work magic with Hamlet?
Whatever you decide, you have to do things for you, not for other people- otherwise you'll regret your actions :-)

No bad bad bad unless you want to drive her off thinking you are some sort of lunatic stalker. You'll never see this girl again because of the restraining order. Even in long term putting a name of a friend is not a good idea. that is the Number one tattoo that gets removed or covered up. Make a stencil and airbrush that tattoo in and see what happens if you must.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
From what you have said its over before you have even begun. You are too young for a tattoo legally and your infatuation will pass. I'm not trying to shoot you down in flames, but get real, if she returns your affections because of a tattoo she is either dumb or just feeling obligated towards you. There are many ways to show her you like her that will not last for the rest of your life. Buy her flowers, take her to a concert. Find out what she likes so she knows you really care. A tattoo may make you look like a stalker!.
I hope lots of men who have made the same mistake answer your question.
Can you imagine pledging your love to another girl in the future and her being impressed by a tattoo of another girls name on your body?
Best of luck. Sorry to sound so negative.

Gee, it's a good thing no decent tattoo artist would tattoo you at this age, or I'd be worried.
Save this post, and open it up in a year or two. You'll be pretty embarrassed to find that not only do you sound like a raving lunatic, but you probably don't even talk to this girl anymore.
But it's ok. We all go through it.

Don't do it. If she knows how you feel and doesn't feel the same way about you then it will not impress her. If anything if will make her think that you are somebody to be absolutely avoided. Besides, you are only 16, what happens next year when you feel this way about a different girl. or in 5 or 6 yrs when you find the girl of your dreams but you have somebody else's name on you.

At 15 I don't think anything serious will come of you getting a tattoo. She might be flattered for while but if she just laughs it off then you are stuck with it forever, unless you want to go through the serious pain of having it removed. Then you're stuck with a scar. I would try it the old fashioned way, try talking to her and seeing for yourself how she feels for you. Ask her out. If she says no then won't you be lucky you didn't get that tattoo. Good luck
