Yet I too could not understand why Christians, Jews and Hindus all the time and always criticize Islam and pointed out the contradictions from the Holy Qur’an and Hadiths which are certainly baseless Many non-muslims, critics like Richard Dawkins try to misguide the people, they mischievously spread confusions among the innocent people. They intentionally twisted the meaning of Qur’an, do wrong interpretation of Qur’an and out of the context..

There are or have been terrorist groups among Christians, Jews, Hindus, Sikhs, and even Buddhists. Secular terrorists (anarchists, Maoists) have been the biggest killers. Catholic Irish terrorists have killed far more people in Britain than Muslims, yet the subway bombings in London and Madrid are what Europeans remember today.

The Baader Meinhof Gang, IRA and Red Brigades no longer pose much of a threat, but after 9/11 Americans and Europeans fear that they could be hit anywhere anytime. So they focus attention on Islamic militancy.

I totally have no problems at all if people have other religions than me. It's just that those terrorists are all muslims, and because of the events these recent years, most (or many) people accuse the religion of being terrorist and evil. If you ask me, I don't care what all individual religion teach people, but it's just the fact that the PEOPLE doing this are psychos; despite in which god they believe.

I'm a christian; and as every religious people I don't like the doing of other religions. So to be honest, I really don't like all religions except mine. But what I've written above, is what you may call my second opinion. If you want to hear the real truth... I won't be here for long anymore.

The majority you mention have no connection with Religion at all. In fact it is a common myth that militant atheists use ignoring the actions of the Communists. Not all Muslims support the actions of the militants but there is a faction operating from Saudi Arabia which is brain washing the young to turn against the west and its values this has been happening before Iraq. Part of the problem is how the liberal elite has pushed faith to the margins and left a moral vacuum in society . Muslims still hold strong moral beliefs and family values some which Christians share and once were at the centre of public and private life and affected education and the media . But since the sixties amoral secularism has spread and now dominates the institutions and Christianity has been attacked this leaves a vacuum which something will fill the question is what will fill it?

Its all the MEDIA!

The Western Media has caused the west to believe in their point of view, and only giving one side of the story blinds the people viewing: that is almost everybody. The Media has forced its viewers to believe that Islam is a violent, bloody, intolerant religion, but in reality this is actually the opposite. If people would stop accepting their television sets as their teachers, more people would know the actual truth about Islam. The Media reports misleading stories, gross exaggerations, inaccurate information, and false statements about Islams and Muslims to undermine the religion, and unfortunately, this propaganda is a success--many many Americans believe everything they hear on the news or read in the newspaper. What they fail to realize is that what they read/hear is only one point of view of a bias Media that has been criticizing Muslims with false information vigorously since 9/11.

Terrorism is CONDEMNED in Islam; it is not allowed. Neither is innocent murder, or forced conversions. These are all misleading fabrications composed by the Media. You can't always believe what you hear.

Terrorists are not true Muslims; they use Islam as a mask to cover up their dirty work, and give Islam a bad name. It is not fair for the majority of Muslims, who oppose terrorism and denounce violence that is occurring. Unfortunately, the Media will never let this be known, making it look like Muslims support these radical actions, when in reality they absolutely do not.

Instead of using examples of other peoples' wars to prove that Islam is not a terrorist religion, why don't you speak out against those in Islam who pervert it and use it to support and promote terrorism? People like Osama bin Laden, for example. Of course Islam is not a religion of terrorists, but you will have trouble convincing most people of that if you don't criticize those Muslims who misuse it that way. By not criticizing those people, you give your tacit approval for what they do.

That will never happen because they are fighting in the name of islam and you know it.

By the way, you give 18 examples there, 9 of them also involve muslims, such as Bosnia, Chechnya, palestine, Lebanon and India, and 2, Rome and Greece were before islam existed, so you could easily twist it and say muslims are involved in over half of these conflicts.

The other point you're missing is that none of the others have declared ' let's attack people in the name of jesus christ and god'

I have to blame Islam as terrorists merely follow the koran and it's prophet . Those who are trapped in this religion are too afraid to admit it or they rather stay in the sense of security it offers. They are even ready turn the blind eye on the many errors and contradictions in the book.

It's always been a misconception. Not all Islams are terrorists, just seems a lot of terrorists are Islams.
