Yesterday I went to a permanent cosmetic establishment that also removes tattoos, what they do is tattoo a saline solution and antiseptic onto your tatt then they mix sea salt with water and place it on top of the tatt to extract the ink. They then scoop it off (no rubbing it in).I have to wait till it scabs over and let it fall off naturally to see the results and the lady said it continues to fade months later. I know someone else has had this done out there. Im wondering what your results where and did you have scarring? I couldnt do much research about this procedure because there is none on the web!! Its not salabration or dermabrasion...the place i went to didn't have many pic results but this establishment is certified with the board of permanent cosmetics and on the local news alot for donating this to x gang members. My arm is killing me and is still a bright red, but I'm not too worried YET. Anyone that has had this done, your opinion about it is most definetely appreciated!!

If you arm stays red I would be going to the doctor to see if it's infected. The only way I know of to remove a tattoo is by laser surgery. You can always call a local tattoo parlor and ask them if they have ever heard of this procedure.

These methods are only for small areas to make adjustments in tattoo work - they are not approved removal techniques - it sounds too harsh for skin but I guess some people would rather have a scar than the tattoo.

Killing you? Bright red? Well, yeah.....duh....she burned the hell out of your skin!

Oh dear, i would go and see your doctor asap, it sounds as if you have had a reaction to the sea salt. The only way to remove tattoo safely is with laser surgery. Please don't try this again, save up and pay to have it done properly. Hope that you don't leave it to long before you see your doctor as ou will become very ill with this infection.x

it really does sound like a hoax. if they have no pictures. there is no actual name for the procedure and you can't do research on it. the only real way to remove a tattoo is laser

i have never heard of this and i would not trust it at all .. exspecially if you cant do any research on it... your best bet go get it removed normally or just get it covered up... if you get it covered up it will be cheaper and less painful
