Start lifting. Do less cardio aka running and do more lifting. Reps are repetations. You know what repeat means don't you? Repeat what ever you are doing a certain amount of times. The more weight you lift with the less reps you need to have. More weight and less reps makes you get stronger and bigger. Less weight and more reps gives you more of a cut look/ shows your muscles better. I know you are 15 so I would wait another year before I started taking this stuff but, you can also take protein which basically feeds your muscles. You need about 5 grams of proteing for every pound you weigh. Creatine puts can be known to put on weight too. These are two things that are deffinitely natural and will not hurt you nor are they illegal. Start eating boneless skinless chicken breast, fresh fish, or even canned tuna. They all have a lot of protein in them. Here's a website with a lot of different exercises you can do http://www.myfit.ca/exercisedatabase/exercise.asp
Don't really worry about it too much though, you're in highschool right now I assume. Right around this time your body totally changes as far as muscle and metabolism. Try not chowing down on the fast food and drinking extraordinary amounts when you get to be a senior LOL. I had great metabolism when I was a sophmore and junior and then it went away. Now I have to stick to a diet and make sure I exercise every day.

Well first of all, if you don't know what reps and all are, then you need to do research. Also talk to someone in person about weight lifting, even your dad. You can pick up weights and exercise, but you can get an injury doing this.
This may not be what you want to hear, but run. Run about 1-2 miles and do 20 push-ups at a time periodically throughout your run. The SINGLE most important, and ONLY way to gain weight is to eat more. Running and doing push-ups will make you hungry and you will eat bigger meals.
When you finish your run, do 10 pull-ups 3 times, (do 3 sets of ten reps!)
You should eat 5 meals per day, bkfst, lunch and din being the largest, breakfast being the largest of them. Eat a lot of protein, fish is the best, meats, yogurts, cheese, tofu, and lots of vegetables! Eat your carbs after you finish your protein, so eat your meat first then your pasta or bread or whatever last.
Cheers!
P.S. Once you have been running and working your legs and push/pull-ups, you will be stronger and more prepared to lift.
Try to avoid lots of oil and fat.

Having a fast metabolism is a great thing for sure. You will realize that later in life.
Ok reps are repititions meaning how many times you would "lift" a weight. So if you did 10 reps on the bench press exercise it means you pushed the bar up 10 times. Sets are the amount of total times you do the one exercise. If you do 3 sets of 10 reps on the bench press you did the same exercise three different times for a total of 30 reps.
To gain weight you need to get on weight training workout routine and do low REPS with heavier weight. This will add muscular bulk and weight to your body. You can get good books on this at the library or book store. If your parents are cool they can set you up at a local gym with a personal trainer for say a couple of weeks to show you how to work out and teach you.
MOST IMPORTANT...diet... You need to take in a lot of good calories. Definately buy a good high calorie weight gaining protein powder with good ingredients and nutrition. Get a good muti vitamin going. Take your protein shake three times a day AFTER meals and not before (kills your apetitie). Start eating good proteins like lean meats, fish, tons of egg whites, beans etc. Get some good carbs and complex carbs. EAT EAT EAT as if you are working out you are going to burn even more calories. Make sure you eat a good meal after workouts and a shake as well. Trust me most people wish they had your problem...most have the opposite with weight. Good luck and keep the faith!!
