My two sisters got into a big fight. The older one is 20 while the other one is 15. The 15 year old asked the 20 year old to help her with the laundry because she doesn't know how. The 20 year old got really pissy but was willing to help her. While they were in the laundry room, me and my other little sister heard the 20 year old degrade and insult the 15 year old by calling her names such as "stupid, dumbass, I hate you, you're soo dumb." While Me and my other little sister were outside of the laundry room, we told the 15 year old that we would help her because we felt sorry for her. Right when the 20 year old heard our offer, she slapped/punched the 15 year old in the face. Then they got into a big physical fight. I tried to break the fight up but it was too vicious. As a result, the 20 year old left with several minor scratches on her face, two BIG scratches on her neck/chest area, a bite mark that was open-wounded. While the 15 year old got away with nothing.

the 20 year old is mad at me and my other little sister for siding with the 15 year old. She said it was the 15 year old fault becasue she left her several wounds. My parents are extremely mad at the 15 year old and are punishing her instead of the 20 year old. I know what the 15 year old did was extremely vicious but I feel that it was 20 years old's fault. WHOSE FAULT IS IT?

Older sister's fault, as you know...

Just the fact that she was witnessed by 2 of you to have struck first should seal the deal as far as whose side anyone takes. Doesn't even matter who got snarky in the laundry first. Doesn't matter who got hurt worse in the fight. Stick together, you 3. Revolt if you have to, in protest, if the punishment is significant.

However, 15 should tell your parents and 20 that she regrets the violence and injuries caused, and was just so worked up by being attacked by someone bigger that she used all her strength. Always take all the moral high ground, not just some!

That will teach her to mess with her little sister. What is the problem? It was their fight not yours. If anyone asked, tell them that the 20 years old started it by hitting her sister.

Physical altercations, I believe, are both of their fault. Takes two to tango. However, I do feel that the 20-year-old was being immature and unnecessarily picking on her younger sister. She should know better than that and "pick on people her own size (age)." Shows her weakness and insecurity.

I think the 15 year old should have talked out the problem instead of return the fight. It is BOTH of their faults.

It was the 20 Year Olds fault.. both the fight and the fact she sucks at fighting.

20 year old had every bit of it coming and you should tell your parents exactly what you heard and saw word for word, punch for punch. It takes 2 to fight they both should receive the same punishment

the 20 yr old she is the one who slapped the 15 yr old and called her names and stuff. i hope the 20 yr old learned her lesson not to pick on someone younger than she is. cause she just got her butt whooped. as for your parents they need to hear both sides of the story before they dish out the punishments.

I think your 20 year sister needs to grow up. For goodness sake, she's 20 already! You would think she would have a bit more maturity than that!
