Dont go out and buy anything expensive.
First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)
Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)
Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a "little" honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)
Use a teaspoon of every oil and honey,.... a little more if ur hair is long or a little less if ur hair is short
Repeat this 3-4 times a week, your hair will grow like a weed, fortify, reconstruct, moisturize, soften & remove all frizz I promise,..... and it will be super shiny!!!!
The clairifying shampoo will help take the oil off your hair when u shower
You can also use a conditioner but get a light conditioner that wont wiegh ur hair down, becuz u can over condition, I use herbl essences "clean happy" conditioner.
When I do this at nite, I wake up, shampoo & condition, rinse and style as usual. Has worked for years
You can find olive oil anywere, but the other oils you will have to buy at a local organics store, wholes foods or BJ's health corner.

There Are Two Ways To Go For Getting Hair Shiney:
#1: Wash With A Good Clairifyng Shampoo You May Need To Do This For A Couple Of Washings, Follow With A Cool Water Rinse. (Do Not Use Conditioners, Styling Products Or Any Other Products On Your Hair At This Time)
#2: Use A "SHINE SERUM" OR "SHINE TREATMENT"
(FRIZZ EASE OR Pantene Shine Drops, REDKEN Glass⢠Or Vinyl Glamâ¢, Clairol SHINE HAPPY, CELLOPHANES Clear

1. Use a clarifying shampoo. I really like Tres Emme Deep Cleansing Vitamin C shampoo. It works great, it is a huge bottle, and is like $3.50! Over time residue from styling products, shampoos, and conditioners can build up and make your hair look dull and lifeless. Using a deep cleaning/clarifying shampoo gets rid of the build up. I would suggest using this shampoo three times a week and a more gentle shampoo (Pantene Pro V Ice Shine) the other days. After shampooing you should use a shine inhancing conditioner such as Pantene Pro V Ice Shine. When you rinse your hair you should use cool water because cool water encourages the hair shaft to close thus leaving it smooth and smooth hair looks shiny because there aren't rough patches messing up how the light bounces off of it.
2. It is important to get your hair trimmed regularly. You should take about a 1/4 to 1/2 an inch off every six weeks. This gets rid of dead/split ends. Initially you may want to take off a little more if your hair isn't in very good shape.
3. Use a deep conditioning treatment once a week. Shiny hair is healthy hair. Over conditioning can make hair limp and lifeless so don't do it more than once a week.
4. If you are really looking to jump start your way to shiny, healthy, hair you can go to your stylist and ask her for a Hair Gloss Treatment. These treatments start around $35.
5. Blow dry your hair in a downward direction to make the hair shaft lay flat and smooth. Finish off your style with a shine serum to boost shine to the max.
Hope this helps. These are all things I do to maintain healthy, shiny, beautiful hair. Good luck!

Here are some things I've read up on for shiner hair.
-After Conditioning, Use cold water to rinse out your hair.
(You could also use cold water/vinegar, but i know that would smell horrible!)
-Pantene is a GREAT line of products, and its so reasonable. They recently have a line out of products called "Ice Shine" Which is suppost to help with the shineyness of your hair. It seems like a good investment
-Leave in conditioners always leave your hair soft and shiny! :)
hope that helped!
