Can H1-B visa holder start an online store?

I am currently working under H1B at a company. On the side, I would like to start an e-commerce site selling imported accessories. Is this possible?

Sure, until the immigration officials find out.

If you think you can successfully escape detection, then go ahead.

I wouldn't risk it if I were you . . . why not start your online store in your home country? Surely it wouldn't be difficult to market to customers in the US and elsewhere from there, would it?

U R only allowed to work 4 that company, your visa will not allow online business.Sorry!
