I take good care of my skin (ex. wash it with acne medicated washes morning and night, use special facial lotions for acne, use facial masks, etc.) and I eat organic foods and drink soy milk instead of regular milk, but I can't get rid of my acne :(

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I could do to stop this never ending cycle??

Frequently, acne is resistant to over-the-counter treatments. While acne can be *aggravated* by stress, (slightly by milk in some teen girls -- there appears to be NO other dietary factor), and also aggravated by outside conditions (humidity, sweat, etc), it is primarily just due to a malfunction of the way your skin sheds and exfoliates. Acne medications try to help correct this and/or to reduce the amount of bacteria on your skin. When OTC treatments don't work, it's time to go to the doctor. Combination therapy (antibiotics, retinoids, and special face washes) are sometimes required. Acne also sometimes goes beyond the teen years to last into adulthood, and this is more common in women. Don't be too patient and just wait; be "pro-active" and get yourself some help from a dermatologist or general physician.

I used to use all the acne products that you listed and nothing ever helped clear all my acne. But a few months ago, my boyfriend told me I should try to just wash my face with regular soap and see if it helps. I didn't think it would, but I have had almost no new break outs since! I just wash my face twice a day with soap and use an oil free moisturizer.

If that doesn't help you, you could always see a dermatologist.

Antioxidants would do a great deal on improving your condition. Eat a lot of veggies & try taking antioxidant supplements. You can also try Vitamin C serum for your face to purify your skin and decrease/ normalize sebum production. Try it. It worked for me.

Relax... -Yeah, I know that's "easy for ME to say..."-but oftentimes- acne is brought on by STRESS. So the LESS you worry about it- the more of it should clear up. It ALSO tends to go away by itself as we get older- so time is on your side (in the long run). Just BE & imagine yourself WITHOUT acne- and eventually, you WILL be! :)
