People have crying just like you are for thousands of years. I suspect that the first words mankind ever learned were "The End is Near!!!"
I seriously mean that.
Search for ABHOTA, read it and then go live your life.

Think the opposite. If there is no spirituality or there are no spiritual centers, what would have been the fate of those who are idling desperately with the perils and problems frightening them badly?
Who else, other than the truely devoted God fearing and compassionate men and women, would render a helping hand to the suffering folk with a pat on his/ her back, "Cool down my dear, tell me, what troubles you. why don't we sit together to pray the Almighty".
He might need food, medicine , shelter or financial assistance. But he needs primarily a helping hand with a compassionate smiling face to guide him.
Jesus narrated story of the Good samaritan and in the end he said, "You too become, a real friend to your neighbour"..

We lack 'true' Good Samaritans.
Only spirituality and fear of God builds 'real' Good Samaritans, and it is relevent indeed.

For the helpless, one who extends the helping hand is GOD. To a hungry, the person who satisfies his hunger is GOD. He cannot think of any other God when hungry. When one is truly spiritual, he develops in him the Godly qualities of service to others, truthfulness, honesty, understanding and loving all, accepting all with all their shortcomings, forgiving others for their mistakes etc. Only such people can help the suffering masses. Those who are far removed from spiritualism are like animals because for them this life is to be lived in full whether by hook or by crook that does not matter. The theory is make yourself happy and full of material gratifications. Even beg, borrow or steal if required. There is no law of Karma, nothing called sin or hell or heaven, nothing called God. Do as you feel like. The story ends with death. There was nothing earlier, nothing afterwards. If you need to kill and have the capacity to kill, then go ahead and kill because no one is watching and no one is there to punish you. This world is becoming a living Hell because of lack of true spiritualism in us. Of course we make a show of our religion, fight with other religions and do all that in the name of God. -- All of us who are doing so are worse than those who do not believe in God or deny the existence of God. They are equally responsible for turning this beatiful planet into Hell. What is required is true spiritualism based on the basic principles of love and respect for all, in the belief that God is present in everyone and he is watching us every moment.

people have been suffering throughout the beginning of man kind...our suffering in this time and age isn't any different from the past...we just think our suffering is more special because we are living in this life time and dont know what it would have been like living in the past or in another part of the world. spiritually isn't always associated with religion...im not religious but i consider myself to be a spiritual person because when i look at nature i just feel like im at "peace"...like my "spirit" is at peace...or me as a whole is a peace. i think your "spirit" is just a word meaning your very essence that makes who you are...what makes you unique.

Revelations 21:1-4,

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the former heaven and the former earth had passed away, and the sea is no more. 2 I saw also the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God and prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

Jesus said that in the last days, because iniquity would abound, the love of many would wax cold. Believing in God and repenting of sin, which is the essence of spiritual living, is the answer for all who are seeking for truth, and who are willing to find it.
