what religious group is this? women wearing long skirts?

i use to work at the mall (retail) and every ones in awhile a group of women would come in and they would all be wearing long demin jean skirts....what religion is this?? and why do they only wear that???

"Holiness" churches. A form of evangelical pentecostal types. And it doesn't have to be just denim but they always wear them to the ground.

Well it could be any number of religious women wearing them. Some Jewish, Christian, Muslum women wear just skirts.

It is for modest dress,,,,that is how they believe. For others to believe in modest dress differently, more power to ya...but the ones in skirts aren't hurting anything,,and so what if they do...

And it doesn't have to be a certain religious group,,,maybe they like to just wear skirts.

Jewish and Orthodox. We all wear long skirts, long sleeves, high necklines, etc. Young women tend to wear denim skirts because they are comfortable. The reason we dress this way is because modesty is one of the 613 laws we follow.

Different religious groups wear that sort of thing.Orthodox Jews.Fundamentalist Baptists.Pentecostals.It stems from modesty,although I believe it is quite possible to be modest in pants as well.

I don't know of any that wear only long denim..many women from many religions wear long skirts.

I do not think they belong to a certain religion. Maybe they like wearing long skirts to cover their legs.

Do they wear peasant-type clothings with the man who accompanies them dressed in an almost black suit? I usually see them in shopping-malls too. Are u in Canada? I see alot them here in Canada. I was wondering if they were Hutterites or Mennonites, but they seem alot more modernized in their approach to the "modern" society. I can't really put my finger on their religion but most of them also don't seem to speak English. I wish I knew who they were.

I like women in jeans. It creates them look more home town like and it generally does not appear to be they try too hard but if you are trying to get this fellas attention, this might not be what you would like

I really do enjoy putting on long skirts once in a while. They are really actually convenient than Jeans and not as hot to wear also.
