well, be gentle with him cause he will get hurt. just sit down with him, have a serios and gentle discussion. if he really understands then just tell him the truth. he will probably be upset for a little while, but dont worry... he will eventually let it slide over time. its better to tell the truth than to keep it a secret from him forever. lets say u dont tell him until hes 25, he will be furious!!!!!i hope my advice helped u and good luck!!!!

Aproach it the right way. You know your kid better than any body else so the wording will have to be your own depending on how he might react. Just let him know that you love him very much and that you are still his father in every which way but blood, that you didn't make him but you're still his daddy and always will be. Doing it now is better than waiting till later. He may not fully understand right away but it'll work out in the end.

why to tell him?this thing will disturb the think you do not want to be the father of that child,if you really do not then leave the child but do not play with the emotions with a sweet a and sensitive child.

but you are!!!! you are the Dad of his house that he lives in. have his mom with you and tell him how very much you love him as you son, and that he is really a lucky little boy, because he has 2 dads, You, who loves him forever, and the one he doesn't live with.

Honestly, if he thinks your his dad, I wouldnt tell him until he is older. The fact that he thinks your his dad is awesome. There are to few of you out there that treat step-chilren as their own.
