I am 23 and my last bf was 34, before that one 44. As long as the guy is a down to earth 40-something and not a "I'm having my mid-life crisis" 40-something I think that age is just a number.

Totally depends on the guy. I'm 25 and would date a 40 yr old but that's just me. If it's like a scraggly, snaggle tooth freak then no. I won't date just ANY 40 yr old. Age is just a number. Now if you get into the 50s... no

I don't think many do. I am 33 and I have never even dated a 30 year old guy. I look younger and identify with younger guys. Plus they don't tend to have kids and ex wives like older men often do. When I look at guys in there 40s many remind me of my dad and that isn't a romantic thought! That is just my opinion though.

yea if they have money...but come one now thats the same as guys. Truth is though, honestly you will have nothing in common with a woman that significantly younger than you. Unless you just want a sexpot, armcandy. Go find the bimbo in the club dancing with her skirt half way up her butt and falling on the floor drunk. There is the girl that will date such a man. Plenty of lovely women in their 30s and 40s.

Yes, but realistically, not as much as girls in their 30's. (To be honest...I used to think 40 year olds were pervs, anyway, when I was 23).
You'll have better luck with the 30 year-olds that look like they're still in their early 20's. Jeez - what is this annoying obession with older men just wanting uber-young looking girls who look like they could be their daughters?
Not to offend but is it an age denial thing, or just a mid-life crisis thing?

well if they lk the guy it shouldnt be a problem...but wht id lk to know is are you a 40 year old guy, looking to date younger women????
Well if you are then just ya know look around, not just searching for some young hoochie to cure lonliness. But some/alot of women in their 40s are married/taken so if thts wht u are looking for one for then..well id say its fine, some women prefer not to.
Anyways ok, to sum it up I'd say tht you should look around, try the free appealing ones. Not just for the age!!!

guys in their 40's may be pushing it... but I'm beginning to wonder the same question about guys in their 30's(if women in 20's will like to date them)?

The oldest guy i dated was 32 years old. He was good looking, and yes he had money. I'm 20 by the way. I had to admit i felt weird because of his age. Even though he seemed like really nice guy, someone you would settle down with. However, i felt like kid when I was with him. Anyway, i dont think i would date anyone that old. Unless they look, act and feel like they are a little closer to my age =P
