True. But keep in mind, that it is not only the media, but also the way that blacks themselves present themselves to everyone, not just Caucasians. I am a black woman of 17, and I do my utmost to stay away from what is portrayed on the media. I also try to help others of my ethnicity to see that the way of life portrayed by blacks on the media, is not the best way to live, but usually, all I get are comments telling me that I'm "white-washed" or an "Oreo." So I agree with you to an extent.

i saw some episodes of "my sweet 16" and it`s sad. all those rich kids are so rude and annoying, and insult their parents because they bought them a white Benz instead of a white Lexus. and the parents sit there and take it. i think it`s wrong and disrespectful.
