then when we tell them the truth of what we are thinking they get all pissed so we just start to lie so we dont have to hear you complain anymore

Sadly, I have to agree with you. Most of us, including me at times, don’t want to hear the truth. We want you to live up to the image that we have created of you in our minds as the perfect BF, the perfect soon to be father/husband, etc. when really the answers to all our questions is made apparent in you guys everyday actions and simple responses. Its hard to hear the truth.

Do we say that? I never did. My ex-guy was brutally honest and it killed our relationship. There is such a thing as a white lie. If you think its gonna hurt her feelings, I suggest not saying it, unless its really important. Its important also to pick your battles. Does she look fat in that dress? Well maybe she does but is it worth her losing her confidence and you getting slapped? No. Not when you could have an otherwise nice evening together. Plus, theres always a "nice" way to be honest that you may not be doing. Like, theres a huge difference between saying, "What the hell have you got on!?" and, "I dont know if thats appropriate for this occasion, sweetie." Oh and theres always the critique and compliment method. Like saying, "I disagree with you here, but, your right about this..." she cant get mad at you if you show your opinion, while still valuing hers.

If a woman still seems upset. She needs air, shes only upset because she cares about YOU. But this question is a very broad question. Depends on what you are refering to. Telling the truth about hanging out with a woman or talking to your ex, thats only feelings that mean we care. If its something about you say you went to work but went out with the boys, thats just blows my mind. Guys need time with friends just as much as women do, if she is troubled by the fact you want a night out with friends, you just nabbed yourself a high strung woman. Ha, I just honestly believe questions like this are too inaccurate when it comes to men or women, we are human. Depends on the person how they react. I have have plenty of boys become all destraught after I tell them a simple truth, but hey that their problem if they are upset. If you're honest and believe what you say is true. No use in fighting back, your conscious should be clear :) Don't lie because then they just grow stronger, larger over time. Just trust yourself and she will learn to trust you in return.

b/c guys lie all the time. wen u tell the truth the truth is stupid and we realize we should have never asked and we were stupid for thinking u were something wen u werent. girls...we wld rather have the truth that draws a tear than a lie that draws a smile. just say that to urself a few times. tell girls the truth whether it hurts them or not. they will admire u for that.

well when you say honesty..i think of honesty to the relationship..not cheating, etc. but if you are tlaking about like if a girl says she wants the truth whether she looks good in whatever shes wearing..and youre being honest and say no.....then..if she gets mad...thats kinda weird. i wouldnt get mad..and i wouldnt ask a question...if i didnt want to know the truth
