There is a camera on the corner of Francisquito/Ramona in Baldwin Park. I was making a right turn on Francisquito and the camera flashed. Then i thought the ticket was going to come by mail but 2 police officers go to my house and personally take me the ticket...my friend answered the door and they were asking for me. I though that was kind of odd, so i pass there the next day and there is ABSOLUTELY NO sign that says can't turn right on red. I already sent my ticket cuz i didnt want to have a record or anything. What should have i done? and where do i call to make sure other people dont get caught in that anymore?

Not sure what the law is where you live, but here in Ontario Canada it is illegal to turn right on a red, unless the way is clear and the driver comes to a complete stop first. I think I would be disgusted if they wasted taxpayers money by putting a sign at each intersection explaining that. Or had you followed the legal method of turning right on a red (for wherever you live)?

You should file a dispute in traffic court. You are allowed to make a right turn on red light after you stop. If it was not allowed, then there should be a sign to warm drivers about it.

Cameras should only flash when cars run red light and go straight. It should not flash when cars making turns. And you should only receive your ticket through the mail. It would be interesting to hear the police would bring the ticket to your door. I think they should have more important things to do!
AND OF COURSE, YOUR STATEMENT DOES NOT MAKE ANY SENSE!!!!

There was one case in the City of Vancouver. The City by Law only allow commercial vehicles to park in the back alley. One person parked his car in the back alley without a commercial permit and was ticketed. He argued in court that the back alley has no sign says "commercial parking only". The parking enforcement officer told the judge that people should know back alleys are for commercial parking only. No sign should be required. The judge disagree with the officer and dismissed the case.

By sendingyour ticket, you are admitting guilt. I assumed you paid a fine. Did you get the chance to register for traffic school to keep it off your insurance?

Next time this happens, if there is not a no turn right on red sign, then get your video camera and film the intersection and take this to court with you and show the judge. You should be able to beat the ticket, getting a lawyer wouldn't hurt either.

How did the cops (were they really cops?) know that it was you driving the car and not your friend? The picture (if there was such a thing because cameras don't go off with a flash) is taken of the license plate not through the windshield. Are you making up this entire story?????

you can google an attorney for hire. you can fight the ticket, if there were no signs and you were careful when you made your right turn, it's legal. you should fight it with a real attorney. just google traffic attorney in your area, and go fighting. that's a 500 dollar ticket and plus traffic school will make it much higher. fight it!!

I think the most likely thing here is that you didn't come to a COMPLETE stop before turning. In California you are required to stop thoroughly (no CA rolls).
