I think makeup should be simple. I don't like it when it looks like a girl has cake batter all over her face...it looks too fake. With makeup, less is more. If a girl wears nothing else, I think she should wear eyeliner. It really brings out the eyes, and if she must wear a second thing, well, a little blush. Of course a lot of girls wear foundation, which is fine, but it should be very light if it is needed at all. That's how I feel about it. Unless it's like a play or a big event, like a wedding, you probably don't need more than that, but at special occasions I think it's normal for a girl to go all out...but certainly not every day!
JanitorC brings up an excellent point, I might add.

Personally i don't care about how much makeup a girl wears. But if i had to pick, i'd say that i prefer for a girl to wear a little or no makeup. I guess it's ok for a girl to wear a lotta makeup if she's tryin to cover up something (birthmark,scar,etc.) but i frankly don't care how much makeup she uses.

I don't know how much make-up is too much.
I do know that I like it when a woman wears less make-up.
Eye-brow make-up and a bit of lipstick is enough.
When a woman is 'plastered' with make-up, it shows that she is not secure with herself ... no confidence in herself. Also makes me think that she's trying to 'hide' something.
You've come up with a good question !
I hope a lot of women are listening.

less, i think most guys will prefer a girl's natural beauty... wearing too much makeup can look tacky or even scary, lol

The right amount is barely noticeable. Maybe it just covers up a few imperfections. Too much is no good.

well, i personally prefere girls with less make up a little make up doesn't hurt but when they put to much on i hate it. it makes them look skanky.
