Does god instantly know if someone is good or bad. If god does have to think about decisions does that make god not all knowing? If god doesn't have to think about things than how can god really be making insightful decisions? Doesn't the act of making a good decision involve thinking? When god makes a decision does that make it the right decision or are all of god's decisions correct even before god makes them?

The existence of Billy Graham is evidence that god doesn't think?

Hm... That is a very interesting question. I don't think so.
I don't think god would be constrained to travel space time in a single direction at a relatively constant speed like we do. It is hard to "think" if you aren't moving through time, since it is a gradual coming to of a solution, and a process requires time to occur.

He probably exists in all times simultaneously and is conscious of all things at all times. If "he" is conscious at all (in any way that we would understand). I doubt he is constrained by our conceptions of the universe.

Why would god need to think at all? I don't know, perhaps it is hard for me because I connect most strongly to the concept of the Tao, which very much IS. I don't really see god as a conscious being making decisions, I see it more as a force.

Huh... I never thought about that before. Thanks for bringing it up... It is fun to ponder.

God instantly knows people and things... good and bad.

If God has to think about what He is doing, it doesn't mean He doesn't know everything, it just means He is making sure He is doing what is right with what He knows, (which is everything).

God chooses to do right all of the time. He perfectly knows the difference between right and wrong and always does right

The decisions He makes are correct, even before He makes them.

God knows & so did/does Jesus know the heart and mind of the people He met while on Earth. Even discerning the good heart/mind from the bad heart/mind Jesus walked with, eat with, talked with, healed, taught and helped all people, regardless their social/spiritual status.

All-knowing, all-seeing, all-powerful means just that. God Almighty and Jesus says that their thoughts are higher and not that of man's. God does not lie; God does not make mistakes. And ALL of His decisions are for the betterment of mankind, not to harm the future of mankind.

Think about Saul of Tarsus.

Saul came from wealth, he was a Pharisee, a Jew, and a Roman citizen, was university educated, well travelled, an academic's academic, and a man's man, and a powerful force within the government. He hated Jews, hated Almighty God, spoke out against Jews and Yahweh EVERY chance he got and he hunted them down and killed many many Jews just for being Jewish by birth. Saul saw to it & witnessed and took part in the stoning of the Apostle Stephen.

Now if people look at all the above, would man EVER in his right mind consider that Saul could POSSIBLY become a wonderful Christian, a lover of Jews and all people, & a powerful spokesperson for Almighty God? And willingly give his life for his belief in Almighty God and Jesus Christ & his refusal to deny that Almighty God was the ONLY God and not Caesar?

Nope...in all honesty, I know I would not have believed it possible. Yet, all I would have to honestly and fairly base my opinion on was Saul's past and present behavior, right?

So I would have said Nexxxxxxxt candidate for God's man!!!!!
I think everyone would feel the same way.

But we would be wrong.

Almighty God knew what Saul COULD be. He saw what Saul WOULD become. And thank Almighty God He KNEW better.

Because you see, Jesus Christ personally appeared to Saul of Tarsus on the road to Damascus. Jesus' very radiance shining from Him blinded Paul for a short time. The moment Saul met Jesus Christ...it changed him forever and he accepted Jesus Christ as His personal Lord and Savior and Jesus renamed him. The Apostle Paul. The author of all the most amazing books of The New Testament.

How about Billy Graham? A poor boy, from humble beginnings in the mountains of North Carolina. If we had been told that that poor, humble mountain kid would one day be known by every kind and evil ruler in the world. That he would witness to and change the course of governments & officials in his lifetime. That he would have the most widespread ministry and outreach for all peoples around the world, & become the most beloved and well-known preacher of the Gospel in the modern world...

Would I, people, have believed it possible?
Or would I or people have said Nexxxxxxxxxxxxxxt?

Being honest, I know I would have overlooked Billy Graham.
But Almighty God KNEW.

So I prefer Almighty God's decisions over man's.

Humans have limited past and present knowledge of times, peoples, and lives. That is why we make mistakes...some more grievous than others. Because we do not know ALL things about people & situations, but God does.

I chose God's thoughts, ways, and decisons.
He DOES know best.

I believe you'll find that perfection, omnipotence, and omniscience don't really go along with thought and desire, which many Gods/gods clearly display.

God is often simply an idea that has been converted into a sentient being, then worshiped. Think about it. Its "divine" traits are things that humans would like to have, but then it contradicts itself because humans also impose their own ideas and characteristics upon it. It is idealism with consciousness, and every God is conveniently for and against the same things the individual who believes in it is for and against...

It's not a coincidence.

In Genesis it often states that "God looked and saw that it was good"
This implys to me that he didn't know if it would be good to begin with. This also helps explain how he screwed up so bad when he created us.
