I think existing and not-existing is a dualism and a maybe inaccurate way of seeing things.

I don't really know what God is or what God can or can't do.

But, I guess that if God could "not exist", God could "exist" and atheists are really against the "existing" part, so they wouldn't believe in God.

Atheists believe in reason over emotion. They do this so that they do not feel the highs and lows that the rest of us feel. I doubt your statement would mean anything to them. I may be wrong but I sense that they have big egos. They live in the here and now and do not care about the afterlife. Many do not recognize that they do have a god, which is money. They miss out on many good things in life but they do not care.

You just don't get it do you? Atheists don't believe in God or Gods, including non-existent ones.

On many levels, no. Main reason: By definition, it's impossible for an atheist to believe in God.

Such paradoxes is why science and religion have been segregated entirely. They simply do not mix, as they always conflict with each other, namely, evolution vs. Adam and Eve.

Atheists do not believe in God. They do not believe in Buddha. They do not believe in Allah. They do not believe in Krishna or Ganesh either. To be Atheist is to not acknowledge any religion as a true one, and thusly, not believe in any of them. And they pursue science because science is proven. Unlike religion (whose only credible proof are their holy scriptures), whatever is pursued in the name of science always have to have a theory at the very least, and must be proven to become fact. Religion just lets you believe its there, whether its actually there or not. It gives you hope, praise, and happiness. Science gives you fact. It gives you truth.

And so, Atheists do not believe in God. Your question is only based off Christian beliefs. They cannot believe in God just because God is omnipotent and can go into non-existence, or even pre-existence. For to believe in God is to acknowledge all other religions, but to deem them false. Atheists deem all religion as false and do not acknowledge any of them, which disproves such perplexing paradoxal questions such as yours.

God is not powerful enough to get the religions to agree on God so religion/sectarian violence can finally end. Too much religion can serve as a blindfold.

God has the ability to do whatever He pleases, so why would He want not to exist. This statement makes no sense. God is the creator of the things, He wants to be praised for what He has done. He would not NOT want to exist. Nonsense!

G-D doesn't have the power to not exist. that would be impossible. its like the can he make a rock he can't lift question. just cuz he can't make a rock he can't lift doesn't mean he's not all-powerful and in fact shows he;s all powerful

Atheists do believe in God. They made the choice to follow Christ in the pre-existence. That's why all of us are here on this earth.
