Wow ! You are some special daughter.!
I`m not sure it makes much difference technically or legally which choice you make, but my immediate thoughts are these ....
Do you think your Dad might feel embarrassed, guilty, reluctant, or even bitter, etc., if he were driving "Your Car" instead of buying his own ?
Or,
might he feel the same .. or worse.. if you Gave him a car ?
Is he unable financially to buy his own ? Are you financially that much better off than him which enables you to buy a car for him ?
Questions you should ask yourself. . . for me to know the answers is not important.
Without knowing more, I would have to say right off hand that simply buying a vehicle for your parents and making it clear that it's an outright Gift with no strings attached would probably be the `safest' choice.. emotionally and financially.
good luck
(gee, I kinda could use a new car myself... wink, wink)

Getting them a car would be good. Maybe get them a car thats a year old, it would be cheaper. Or watch for good deals on 2007 cars which should be soon before the 2008 cars come out in a couple of months.

I suppose being attentive to your mothers and fathers sounds well despite the fact that I know the way difficult it need to be! You do have to research however I fully grasp in need of to have a laugh! Do you might have entry to public transportation? Sometimes this is a extra exciting enjoy and you notice extra while you journey via bus than you could riding. Besides what approximately cash for auto maintenance and what if you purchase a auto that breaks down? Then you're going to be very disenchanted and broke. But well success to you something you make a decision.

Option 3: buy a car for me.
OK. Kidding aside, if you can afford to buy a car for your dad, do it. It will be very nice of you.
You can drive it as well and also you can use his old car.

It would probably be nice if the two of you could get a new car. Maybe you could help them a little so that you could still afford one for yourself too. Good luck.
