i remember a girl i hade seen in my church, when i was about 16 yrs old, she was the most beautiful girl i ever seen, i never say anything to her because i was to shy at the time, but, when i seen her some years later, she told me she was married, and she ask me why i never said anything to her, because, at the time she was liking me too, they say the good ones always get away, is that true to you?

Yes and no. You can never know for sure if the one that goes away is good or bad. I remember when I was younger, I really liked this guy and he told me he liked me too. He asked me to be his girlfriend, but for some reason I said no because our group of friends were sort of rivals. I always regret that I didn't say yes. I do think about what would have happened. So make sure that whenever you like a person, go for it.

There is one guy in my life that never goes a way, but I am very glad that he hasn't gone away. We have known each other for over ten years and have always been attracted to each other. I hadn't heard from him in 7 years and then all of a sudden there was an email from him. Time will tell what happens with each other, but I get this feeling that we will be together for quite a long time. We have made it clear to each other that we are not going to let each other go this time.

This may sound strange but here goes. All the things that have happened in your life the good, the bad, the in between would not be as they are now had you not been shy at that time. The teen years are a time for discovery trying to make sense of many things. Then you have your 20s etc. We do learn from all of our experiences. I can see from your photo your not shy today....

I feel things are meant to happen for a reason and Yes I also agree, that the good ones always get away*
It was meant to be that you saw this beautiful girl in your church..and then some years later...meet up again. YOu are very fortunate to have been able to talk this time with her, only to discover she had feelings for you at the time also. It was meant to be*~
You will Always Cherish those thoughts* and the questions of What if ... you would have spoken to her that day..What if...???

I dated a man for over 5 years and simply thought he was the best, in every way possible. We had disagreements on raising our kids- he was very lienient and I wasnt but that was all we argued about. Then one day he said he had to leave, and he was gone. I finally saw him a couple of years ago and really hoped things would get started again but as luck would have it, he never called again. I still think about him constantly and wish he would want me again but ya cant make someone love ya! He did tell me why he left me, my ex husband threatened to kill him. He didnt want me but he didnt want anyone else to have me either.

Yes there were a few. Wasn't ready to settle down at the time and the three of them wanted to get married but I was only 19 - 21. They were all lovely guys and I think of them often.

The whole situation can teach you a lesson. If your heart compells you to take the chance...it's better to try,and even if the outcome isn't what you want...you wouldn't feel the way you do now.The only regrets I have in my life...are the chances I never took...the people I was too shy to know...the things I was too afraid to do.Trust your heart...and always give a chance to a miracle.

A guy I have mixed feelings about asked me to prom. I said no because I felt like I was leading him on. I didn't want to go out with him unless I sure of myself. But looking back I wish I had said yes.

Yes, there is one man. We were the best of friends. We had so much fun together and he could make me laugh like no other man could. However, we made a HUGE mistake and tried to become "lovers." Our friendship died immediately after that and I never spoke to him again.
I miss him so much, even after 10 years. I hope he is well and happy, wherever he may be.

Nope, my ex was a cheater and a f**kin walking STD (I didn't do anything with him though...we just got up to hugging and kissing a lil)
I guess that goes for some people though...
Well, here's a little advice to people out there:
When you have a chance, take it!
