I'm new to spice. So far I have an AC source, ground, and a resistor in a circuit. How do I get a graph showing the sine wave output of the ac?

Set the resistor value (right click on the resistor and type in the value)

Set the AC source voltage and frequency (right click on the voltage source -- select SIN, Enter the AC voltage(peak), DC offset (start with 0), and the frequency in Hz, you can leave the rest blank.

click on Menu:Simulate/Run. A window should pop up to allow you to select the type of simulation. If a black graph window pops up, close that, and click Menu:Simulate/EditSimulateCmd

In the simulate command window, click in the Transient tab and select a stop time (like 0.01 sec) Don't select 1 (second), because that will take a while to run for complex circuits -- start with small times and go up from there.

click OK to close that window.

Click Menu: Simulate run if it didn't already run. The graph will be blank. Just run the mouse over the schematic node hat you want to look at the voltage of, or the device you want to see the current through. Click and the graph will display the voltage or the current.
