When I was in Florida our taxi cab driver mentioned that if we arrived early in Tampa and the ship was not full they had reduced rates for last minute travelers. Does that happen in Boston as well on the Norwegian line to Bermuda??? Thanks all.

None of the cruise lines, in any service, want to send the vessel out with empty cabins. I believe that you can have your name put on a list for just such a circumstance, but you will have to be able and willing to sail with no more than a day or two notice.
Another way to get a discount is to agree to spend a certain amount of time during the cruise socializing with other passengers, especially singles and especially during dances. Though it occurs to me that it may generally be extra men that they would need for this.

DO NOT GO NCL!!!!! They are the WORST cruise line ever. I went on a celebrity cruise and before I went I was researching cruise lines and I found nothing but horror stories about NCL. One person said their whole ship was infested with bed bugs. Another person said that when they checked in and finally got to their room, the room was dirty and still had trash and stains from the last people who were in that room. They are considered the dollar store of cruise lines. Their commericial makes you think that other cruises are bad and make you robot like with their set times but that is so not true. They make like they are the best cruise line because of free style cruising when it is the worst. My friend knew someone who went on NCL once and they never went on NCL again after that. They only have 5 resturants and each only hold about 70 people, and if you don't pick your dinner times ahead of time then you are stuck having dinner at 11pm.

this website has cheap deals on cruises to everywhere and lots of last minute deals. if that does not work try shermans travel.
