If you were to swallow or touch a type of poison, what could basically kill you instantly? Do ingredients in some make them more dangerous, or is it the smell or color or something?

No, your fine. Because poison is annoying on the body but when it's in the eye it doesn't hurt at all.

Josh...please don't scare me like this...your "reasons to stay alive" question already got me worried enough. Seriously, dude, if your asking this because you're going to use it for anything other than a chemistry project (and I don't think any teacher in his/her right mind would assign one involving anything that toxic) PLEASE don't do it; don't even entertain those thoughts!(Of course, if you're just asking in general, I'm not really all that brainy about that stuff...I don't have any reason to know.)

Lye is probably the most dangerous contact wise. You have to be very careful when using it, it can dissolve your skin.
