Giving him two more months to continue gambling is like people that will start their diets "tomorrow" and go for it all today. "Tomorrow" never gets here. This is something that has to stop now. Going to a casino once in a while during the year with a fixed amount of money (meaning not spending more than what you set) can be considered a night out... this is a little too much.

If you want to give him the time, I really hope things turn around... it's your choice, and only yours. I used to visit casinos from time to time until I got hooked... I had to stop on the spot... it was affecting my relationship at the time, my attitude towards things and obviously my bank account. Best decision I made with regards to gambling.

Let him know how you feel. Talk to him... at some point you'll know if it's just too much and break it off.

All in all, hope everything goes well.

If he is a gambler, he is not going to stop in two months. Its like cigarette smoking, you cant just stop cold turkey. If he just gambles recreationally and if he pays his bills and takes care of you than I see no problem. Dony try to change him cause that aint gonna work. If you love each other than give him time and work it out.

stay with him....only if he does really stop and he is still nice and good to you.

break up if... he is a jerk, he doesn't quit, and he chooses gambling over you.
