change her feeding time abit earlier...and be sure to let her out longer for 'last call' or take her for a walk before bed time walking helps get food through...ya know.
it could be behavoiral. but having been a new mom with 2 dogs i know there is not as much time for the dog and that u are tried....but if u want to keep the dog...then.
and shut her in the bed room with ya i'm sure she would be less likely to do it if she has to be in the same room.
if u don't already try giving her a walk 2-3 times day.
good luck.

we accompanied a 2 year previous black lab from a coworker and he has been amazing. smart and speedy to learn. He found out in 3 nights (in a row) that he's not any longer allowed to sleep on our mattress and is meant to sleep in his very own mattress. amazing temperment, he's around one hundred fifteen lbs, loves infants and small canine. remember, we did no longer practice him from a domestic dog. the form of sturdy boy. we've had him for 3 years now. each and every so often (possibly each and every 2 months), he could get interior the kitchen trash and that became our very own fault for leaving some thing tasty genuine on precise and then leaving him for some hours. We extra a Rottweiler domestic dog to furnish the Lab enterprise. The are relatively the pair. purely a million time did the Lab snap on the Rottie (over a bite toy) and it has by no ability happend on account that (and the Rottie is the dominant). the only con to the relationship is that the Lab was #a million and enjoyed it. Now he could desire to share interest with the Rottie. The con - each and every so often, the lab will without notice hike his leg interior the abode. he's extremely planned approximately it and this is continuously next to the Rottie's crate (she's nonetheless youthful and unfavourable). The Lab will purely do it if he feels skipped over and we are able to work out in his behaviour whilst he thinks he's no longer getting sufficient interest. The random peeing is rather established. he's purely appearing out like a new child (of direction, maximum infants do no longer urinate out of jealousy) guidance - he's around 5 years previous now and remains gaining knowledge of latest tricks. truly uncomplicated to coach. He can talk, sit down, laydown, stay, and shake all to verbal and hand-gesture instructions. the better section - whilst i'm sitting on the settee, he will come over and relax his head in my lap, lookup with those vast brown eyes, and sigh. he's my buddy boy!

I confine my dogs into an area with no carpet using a baby gate when I Ieave for work. I am gone for almost 12 hours and am surprised that my dogs do not have an accident.
Obviously, the first thing I do is let them out in the morning several times and let them out the second I get home and give them lots of exercise. It has worked for me and my dogs are happy and healthy.
My sister crate trained her dog. For awhile she left the dog in the crate when she had to go to work... The crate was large enough for the dog to stand up take a few steps, turn around without bending her body in half and she kept a blanket in there for her with the food and water of course. After a few months of staying in the crate, my sister was able to let the dog roam the house while she was at work and have not had accidents.
Her dog sleeps in the crate to this day at 13 years old

Make sure that you clean up the accident with something that will mask the smell. Vinegar works fairly well. If she is going to be locked up so often though you should think of her welfare. It may be better for all involved to consider giving her up to a lab rescue. Bottom line is that accidents are not the fault of the dog, they are the fault of the owner. She can only hold for so long before she has to go. If she has found that this gets her attention, positive or negative, she may continue to do it for that reason. I bring this up because it doesn't sound like you have much time with her.

Put in a pet door that goes out into a fenced in area so she can go outside to use the bathroom..since obviously she isn't getting walked to go like she should be. If a dog has to use the bathroom and no one is there to let it out...what do you expect it to do?

a lab is a yard dog let it stay out all day and 1 hr. before going to sleep let it out for an hr. but dogs mark there territory and since there is a new baby it doesn't distinguish between human and other animals.
