I commute almost 50 miles per day. My eyes often get itchy because of lack of moisture inside the car. I am in MA, USA so I always have to use the blowers with either the heat or the cold setting.

Use good eye drops for dry eyes, and waer a good pair of sunglasses during the day, sqjinting contributes to the problem too. At night, try not to run the heat so much, just wear more clothes. O^O

I agree with the above answers so I'll just add a little about wearing sunglasses. My doctor told me that it's best to always wear them when driving because of the eye irritation problem from forced air or an open window. It not only makes your eyes dry but can cause a condition to develop that makes your eye constantly water and sore from the excessive moisture. The more fitted around the face the better , so they cut the air from the sides as well.
Take care : )

You can try putting artificial tears in before you leave for work.

Also, #1 answer had a good thought...perhaps there is dust and allergens that have built up in your vent system. Maybe check with your dealer or garage about vaccuming that out.

Also, try not to have the vents turned ON you...I have the same problem when my vents are blowing towards my face, so I angle them down and away...seems to help some.

And keep hydrated...drinking enough water also has helped my general eye dryness...along with my artificial tears. If you get stuck in traffic, have your drops right there and use them whenever you get the chance when your eyes feel dry and irritated.

Good luck!

You can get over-the-counter eye drops that will keep your eyes moisturized. If you're in Mass., I'm assuming you're probably stuck in traffic. That's alright because then you can re-apply more drops as needed. If the moisturizing drops don't work, talk to your doctor about a drop for allergies. Maybe dust or other debris has built up in the vents that you are having an allergic reaction to. Good luck.

Artificial tears before setting out will help. Dust and allergens in the car may be a problem as well, vacuum the inside well and do not smoke or allow anyone else to smoke in the car,
