Didn't they learn anything in school. Nothing can be predicted by the bible. Even a science book that a 6 year old can read on their own can be used to make predictions i.e. what the moon will look like in the coming days. How come religion can't do that? Oh yeah because its not real. Please only respond if you are an atheist because religious opinions are worthless and backward like the myth of the skygod that their perverted minds try to push onto real people as true. Thanks yall.

Dude, be nice. I believe that all forms of religion are an out growth of peoples inability to deal with their own mortality.

Since they know we die, they make believe up a way not to die at the same time. It's a little sad really. Don't look down your nose at them, pity them. Most of them have been raised to believe these things, and it takes a major shake up to make them reassess their beliefs.

Yes it's sad, but that's why we are here, to help them see reason. It's hard to do, when you're calling them names.

Islam all started because of one silly meteorite. When a meteorite falls and it does not all burn up in the atmosphere, it may get lost in the trees or foliage in most lands, but not in the Arabian desert. Sight-lines are clear in the desert, people see where it lands and they could find the smoking pit where it landed and so primitive people were all in awe of one such meteorite. They built a house for it and it was the start of pagan legends, or it fit in with their pagan legends.

Furthermore, Islam was not monotheism but just the pagan god of Muhammad's tribe, the Gurayash or Quray'sh tribe, winning out over all the other gods by war and struggle. He cast out all the other pagan idols accumulating in the "ecumenical" Ka'aba and left only the pagan idol of his god, making it the god of all. Muslims nowadays think they are against idolatry, but they are all facing the same house with hidden contents when they pray, so how is that NOT idolatry? Are there only holy objects related to Islam in that Ka'aba, or is there a legacy of more pagan days and are the local imams of Mecca laughing in their sleeves at duping 900 million people into going on and praying to a pagan god?

I'm sorry, all I picked up on this post was:

"Hi. I think I'm right. I'm a troll. I just want to tick of Christians and Muslims because I have an inferiority complex. I honestly think there is a God, but I am too prideful to admit it. I also don't want to hear from Christians because they know how to use grammar and I don't. I'm going to stick my fingers in my ears and scream at the top of my lungs...unless you're an atheist and you'll high five me because we're both arrogant."

Why come to a religion and spirituality section then pose such stupid questions? Go to http://groups.msn.com/AskanAtheist and talk with other atheists rather than attacking people who have a genuine curiosity for this subject.

I find this type of thing funny. One thing, God isn't just in the 'sky'. God is all over, of course atheists can't prove God doesn't exist, only question it, which doesn't prove anything.
