First off. Food issue. Even some high quality foods can cause digestion problems for bulldogs.
Try EaglePack Duck formula...it's easier on a bulldogs stomach, and it only has a single protein source which means less irritation and easier digestion.
As well one tablespoon of PLAIN ORGANIC YOUGURT, not fruit kind. once a day on top of food will help as well. Again yougurt has active cultures that aid in the digestion, and regulatity of both humans and dogs. It really works!

Changing foods is a good suggestion. Make sure you do it slowly or you'll have to deal with diarrhea too! What always works for me is to start mixing the new food with the old...start with about 1/4 new for a few days, then 1/2 new for a few more and so on...usually takes 10 days to 2 weeks to change completely to new.
Some things to look for in foods. First, start with the current food...is the first ingredient corn? Corn is notorious for causing gas in dogs and humans alike! Dogs (like humans) can't digest corn very well so it ends up as gas or feces.
The first ingredient should be some kind of meat (chicken or lamb are common in better foods). If is has corn in it, it should NOT be one of the first two or three ingredients. Better, yet, look for a food that uses rice for the bulk/fiber...rice is MUCH easier to digest.
If you're already feeding a chicken or lamb-based food, try the other one...my Rottweiler got horrible gas from lamb and rice food but not from chicken and rice!
Also look at the other things you're feeding your dog. Table scraps are a bad idea for a dog that has bad gas. My dog always ends up sleeping in the laundry room when he gets into the trash and eats people food.
Especially bad is anything dairy...dogs are lactose intolerant so things like milk and cheese can cause bad gas (and stomach upset!). I learned this one when I discovered that my son was letting the dog drink the leftover milk in his cereal bowl!
Another thing that might help is adding a tablespoon of unflavored (plain) yogurt to your dog's food...the bacterial cultures in the yogurt help digenstion and reduce gas!
You might also ask your vet if it is OK to give your dog Beano (or a similar "anti-gas" treatment). A homeopathic vet (specialized in natural remedies and accupuncture) suggested this once when we were switching my dog to a natural (homemade) diet (part of treatment for alergies and cancer). I used a gas remedy for infants for my dog without any problems, but you should check with your vet before doing this!
