Yes. It was horrible. My parents forced me to where a white T-shirt under my button down shirts all the time. I think this is a form of child abuse.

Actually I was raised in Salt Lake City and I did not know any kids that had to wear white T shirts under their regular shirts. It was too hot in the summer. In matter of fact a lot of boys didn't wear any shirts.

As an exmormon, I don't see any problem with that either. I didn't grow up in an LDS/Mormon family or near many of them, and most guys wore white shirts under their button up shirts, I don't know if they wore them under other shirts, although one of my non-mormon boyfriends always did.

My brothers and cousins all wear them under their white collared shirts. I've never heard of them being forced to do it, they just do. The shirts aren't very thick, so it's like girls that wear camisoles under white shirts. They're just a form of layering.

I wasn't forced, but I started doing it on my own when I was about 14 or15 for a few reasons. To prevent pit-stains as mentioned earlier, it was more comfortable, and so when I got home I could take my button-up shirt off without going to my room to change.

Can a mormon take off his silly lodge undergarment when he goes to the beach? Mormonism is largely based on the secret doctrines of the Masonic Lodge, as most of you know.

My boyfriend was raised mormon and he just wore a white shirt because he likes having an undershirt on, but he is very uncomfortable with his sexuality our being naked. Damn religious shame. haha

Yes, it is something that most Mormon parents require of their children, though for whatever reason they allow the girls to wear bikinis, so it kind of defeats the purpose don't you think?

You had to do that? I thought it was to prevent pit stains.
