If you mean it's a year out of date. I guess it's ok, since you are obviously not pregnant etc. If it had bits floating around in it or tasted strange, I would say don't drink it though.

If you mean "old pepsi" in a bottle or can that is NOT opened, and it is NOT DIET then it is not going to go bad--as long as there were no leaks. Not true of diet pepsi or any diet soda, the artificial sweeteners tend to break down after a few months (hence the reason they need "made on dates") they taste bad, and perhaps can break down into less than safe chemicals--

Short answer is: Old Real Pepsi Unopened is Fine!!! So is Old Real Coke Unopened, or RC Cola, . . . etc.

It's probably okay. Most carbonated beverages have expiration periods of 6 months to 12 months, but if they had been stored in cool places and away from direct sunlight and other chemicals, they are probably safe to consume after the expiration period. Although the color and taste may not be as good as the manufacturers have intended.
