Love is such a subjective emotion. Everyone perceives love differently and yet there are so many kinds of love. You may love a person differently if you know a person. Then again this could also be different depending on the type of relationship you have with this person. In this case, Jesus is someone in the bible, I have never met him, and I only know him from what is described of him in the bible and of course there is the doctrinal brainwashing thing by the church that he loves me and died for me. If I believe what is said in the bible, then I would love him for what he has done. But this is believe and that kind of love may be so different from the love I have for my parents or my partner. Perhaps, I don't have to believe but have this feeling of love, then its also tough to say I that really is love. I might love a character in a movie or a story. Gosh this is all so confusing.... no wonder there was that song .. "I dont know how to love him"

Yes, I love his way of thinking and I also love him because he loved me so much he gave the ultimate sacrafice in order to save me from myself. For all the comments about loving the dead, I'd like to state that I also still love my father who passed away 2 years ago, and even though I can't see him now I am 100% sure that he existed, there is a difference between love and lust thank you. : )
