I have a 11 yo chi. that i have had for 3 years. I got her from an elder couple that bred chi's. They told me she had been in a crate her entire life and was never let out. she had never been anywhere around ppl. She was so sweet and loving but did not like being held alot. Well a year later I took her to the Relay for Life. I was going around checking tents out and had her with me when we were almost back to our tent she took of to this tent and stopped in front of this really old man and just sat there and stared at him. He picked her up and just started petting her he had a smile on his face. She sat there for the longest time and never moved. I was amazed so I just let him hold her they both looked really happy. Finally his wife told him he needed to let her go so she could go get a drink and run around. He put her down she ran right back to my side and we went back to our tent....
One year later I was at work begging for donations to the next Relay at work, when one of my costumers said "are you going to bring your little dog this year?" I told her probally since she was getting older I dont like to leave her alone overnight. Then she informed me that it was her uncle that had held my Dixi that night. He had althimers and could remember anything and that he was also getting very old. She said that he had not smiled in a long time because he couldn't remember or do anything that made him happy. She said that he loved that little dog and HE WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO DEEING HER AGAIN!!! HE RMEMBERED HER AFTER A YEAR!!! she said everytime he talked about that little dogs he just smiled. I kindly informed her that Dixi would definatly be present at the Relay.

I don't know that this a funny story but it involved my little long haired Chihuahua, Hairy by name. This story shows there are still some great people in the world.
I live in California and had traveled to east coast for a reunion. My daughter would come over twice a day to check on the dogs and feed them. I had some neighbors kids take care of the yard. The dogs have a door so they can go in and out of the house.
Well about 4:00 PM EST I got a call on my cell phone from a guy that said he had found Hairy wandering down the middle of the street. I let him know I was on the east coast. He said he would go the the address on the tag and take Hairy back. A few minutes later he called back and said my side gate was open, the kids doing the yard. I asked him if the other dogs, a Beagle and a Chi/Rat Terrier, were still there and they were. He put Hairy back in the yard and closed the gate. After I got back I took him and his wife out to dinner.

I have a chocolate brown Chihuahua named Lilly.
Two days ago I was at my grandma's house and my cousin Ty was there. Ty is 4, almost 5. He went up to one of the bedrooms that had one of his old stuffed animals in it. It is this green and white bunny/dog (he says dog, I say bunny) He took it downstairs and cut a hole in the stomach and started taking the stuffing out. He cut a hole in each of the feet and one where the tail is. The he took the eyes out, cut a hole where the eyes were, and cut a nose hole.
He made a costume for her!
It was just so funny that he was able to look at it and see that it would fit her! I have pictures if you want to see.

My chi's name is Chi chi. Hes an old FAT doggy. He weighs about 8 lbs!! So one day my step grandfather, who has alztimers & is nearly blind, was eating thanksgiving desert. It was jello w/ fruit in it. So he occasionaly missed his mouth. Chi chi would get on his shoulder & before the spoon full of jello would reach my grandfather's mouth chi chi would stretch out & scarf down all on the spoon he could. Then when my grandfather would realize he 'missed' the jello on his plate the process would repeat ubtil chi chi was full, which meant when the whole plate was gone.

my chihuahua, max, mangaged to have sex with my neighbors' dog (a lab!!!) during their wedding party at their house. we were eating cake and drinking punch when my neighbor decided to show her grandmother their back yard. i followed along, and when she opened the door we could see in plain view max and their dog, caught in the act...max was very creatively engineering things, but luckily the dog did not actually get pregnant. another time when my landlord's dog was in heat, max escaped from our fence, broke into his back yard (two doors down), and somehow broke into his house. when our landlord came home from work, max was hanging out inside his house! max has such an incredible personality that he (and I) were able to brush off both of these encounters. we all still laugh about these 'events'.

I don't have a chi, but my grandma does. He was fine with me when I had blonde, brown, and red hair. But since I went black, he HATES me and wants to eat me. It's hilarious the way he loses his mind about it. Last week I grabbed my hair (it's really long) and shook it in his face and he acted as though it was alive. Funny stuff.

I prefer hair that will is shoulder length or longer, And also since that men who like females are more often then not right, they like long hair because this looks more feminine, as most males have short hair.
