No. Or I should say very rarely are dairy cows used for slaughter.

Cows, females, are not used for butcher becasue the meat would not be as tender. When a cow is milking it is using the lactic acid from its muscles to produce milk. In doing so the muscle tissue gets tough.

This is the same with Deer. A doe will be tough if she is still lactating during the fall hunting season. Neither Doe or buck taste the best when the doe is in estrus or the buck is in rut. It is not real common for a doe to be lactating during hunting season.

No.They're dairy cows and kept to produce the milk.
We don't eat the bulls.we eat the steers At least that's how it is where I come from.
Bulls are kept to produce more offspring.
I won't explain what happens to the cows and the steers when they get past their prime or too old but I will say that you won't be eating them.

Almost certainly not. Milk producing breeds don't carry as much muscle as those bred for beef production. Not that milk cows don't end up as hamburger and other nice things at the end of their productive life, but they don't make very good steaks.

Also, we don't eat bulls. Beef cattle are steers (bulls castrated as calves) and heifers (unbred females).

Dairy cows are milked.

You don't slaughter an animal that is producing money for you every day of its life.

"Cows" are actually the female version, "bulls" being the male. We don't eat cows (as far as I know, but who knows what we eat) because they're meant for milking. Bulls are the ones we eat.
